There's no accounting for the folks that run out of juice, be it fossil or electrical charge. But some EV models are already coming standard with solar powered roofs and bonnets to ameliorate the risk of a dry battery, not to mention the Holy Grail of solid state batteries on the door step, and 1,000 km range as standard. What people must appreciate is, that this is a fast evolving tech (EV's and batteries), and what we see today is but a spark of what we'll see tomorrow.
