I see it completely different, in that the company involved is desperate for supply, as the Chinese enterprise involved is very late to the party in securing supply. IMO, it's an aggressive/panic move from said company, thus very possible it all turns to shite.
Anyways, what's 50Kt LCE of supply in the big picture, less than 8% of this year's production, let alone future demand, assuming it produces at a steady state...
