Seaborne lithium prices rose further on Nov. 8, as sellers were raising their offers in an attempt to catch up with Chinese domestic prices, according to sources.
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, assessed lithium carbonate up $500/mt on Nov. 8 from Nov. 7 at $75,500/mt, also up $1,000/mt from Nov. 1, with lithium hydroxide gaining $200/mt on the day and $2,000/mt on the week to $83,700/mt.
