Could someone please comment on this if wrong. I may have calculated the cost incorrectly so I stand corrected if I'm off track. You accountant/ project EIRR EOCC types, I'm just an old busted sparkie so be gentle.

PLS - 34 years at 1Mt

1Mt of SC5.5 is enough for approx' 2M EV's at 50kg per EV.

So on current resource, enough for 68M EV's LOM.

If an OEM purchased PLS for AUD $30B and that was enough for 68M EV's that = $294 per EV.

Add a cost to produce at AUD $1000pt (Generous, royalties etc)

20 EV's pt = AUD $50 per EV

Total Cost of Lithium raw material per EV AUD $344. Another let's say, $300 to convert to Hydroxide

Now I may have ballsed this up so please correct if I have that figure incorrect.

It just seems like $644 of Lithium per EV is cheap. How much does it cost them to put 4 tyres on an EV. It's an EV and Lithium is the main ingredient for energy storage FFS.

I haven't added the current downstream assets or exploration potential of PLS tenements. I realise there is rehab costs etc on mine closure.

Obviously a very simplistic view with no time value on costs etc and possibly way off track but $10 a share for an OEM to purchase a raw materials supply seems cheap.
