No worries - you can choose to believe that, do more shorting, and if they are right you'll make money.
On the other hand other insto's have different opinions. Here are two:
So, I wonder why do you trust GS more than the others? How do you know who is right and who is wrong?
Meanwhile all shorters who believed GS's narrative and started shorting from 19 september 2023, overall they are now $238m in the red. There are 282m shares in that category, and the share price would need to decrease by 83c, to $3.55 for them to break even. And every day that goes by they incur more fees.
So, GS is suggesting they hang on! Got to have a couple of really big ones!
