Yes that's right EV brakes don't wear out quicker at all. Shut up fudtricky!
As an owner of a plug in hybrid Outlander for a couple of years now I know I hardly use the brakes since there are braking paddles at the steering wheel that go from B0 to B5, putting it in B5 is like 2nd gear in a manual I'd guess and it slows you down pretty quick. Going down a decent hill can give you a lot of extra kms using the paddles. It's kinda fun seeing how many extra ks you can get. Just coming down Tomewin Mtn to the GC I get 15kms from the regenerative braking and hardly touch the brakes.
Oh and we've had it for years now and the tyres don't wear quicker
