Also, there's a huge temptation to ignore the "forever cost" of waste management, it has to be factored in and added to the price charged for nuclear-generated electricity. If you are serious about efficiency, reliability and economic sustainability, you'll only turn to nuclear when the cheaper options are all exhausted. We are not there yet, we've only just started with the much less toxic and better value renewables. For every dollar you spend on nuclear, you could get a lot more energy if you spent it on better methods.
