Wearing my tin foil hat with pride, SK news via POSCO Chem have approved the JV, but are pushing it hard. Could there be a leaky boat wrt a second PLS downstream strategy, for which they have advised the market many times over the past 18 months. Obviously PLS need certainty before committing to the associated supply, and as we can see, for obvious reasons, the project has been delayed by 1 year.
Just seems a little off IMO, in that POSCO have announced, and nothing from PLS as yet. Or is it the final details are being sorted as per the media....
