They've invested in battery metals, fine, we get that, but why the extreme ICE hate?

These over-compensating evangelists can't bear the though of their battery metal investments going south.
Some balance needs to restored to discussions.
If these people can't accept negative news, then they best stay off the interwebs.

Some of these radicalised EV evangelists only do 4-6km of travel per day regularly (look back through this topic), and obviously do not represent mainstream 9-5 city & fringe dwellers.
They misleadingly tell you they have no problem recharging their subsidised and expensive rust buckets at home.
No surprising, if you only travel 4km per day.

These fools, who obviously have more money than common sense, would have been better off using Uber, buying an eBike, and occasionally renting a car for their longer trips, instead of purchasing a liability than is depreciating faster than it's less-expensive ICE counterpart.

But it's probably hard to put a price on that euphoric feeling of helping save the planet though.

The real answer in the short-medium term, IMO, are hybrid vehicles.
