No, that's in your ill informed words and opinion.
I accept there will be competing technologies for the EV battery market, however for now Lithium is king and will be for a long while yet. That's just plain old science and the realities of the long time required for taking a lab prototype new tech to mass scale production.
Many billions (tens of billions) of investments have been made building the battery giga factories and there's plenty more to come - you think they would do that if there was no mid to long term future??
