Best of both worlds, FYI, I have a long position and a trading parcel, both in separate tax structures. Wrt to number of shares, that is the secret, not the % gain, yes you have to pay more for the safer trade, that suits this little black duck. Some people pick less expensive, less advanced plays, well because their less expensive, focusing on the leverage/number of shares, with, of course greater risk.

As said, the sector is volatile, which makes for good short term trading opportunities, as I cant sit still while the maggots are accumulating, re-accumulating, so I join in, sometimes daily, sometimes 1 or 2 per month, that is how I make some income on the side. 10 trading days at 10cents is 100 cents, and lets say my success rate is 70%, I'm up 70 cents while my long position is down 50 cents over that same period. Hours spent, I reckon 15 per month, works for me.
