Nonsense. A trader that wants to buy 100,000 shares does not put in 100,000 orders of one share each.
Companies that put in orders of 1 share do not do it to avoid impacting the market. They do it for another reason.
the original purpose of the stock market eas to allow companies access funds. This has now changed into a casino with beot being the house.
