I am not a fan of buy backs. Yes they decrease shares on offer but only temporarily increase the sp. During those periods of low interest rates US companies borrowed at cheap rates and bought back their stocks. The board made a fortune on performance rights because the sp increased However they didn't increase production or build their businesses and now they are back to square1 which is an underperforming SP and no increase in production.. The best option is to buy a good business and increase your cashflow then give back with fully franked dividends. My opinion only.
