It's purely conjecture, but I do think it's interesting that this short term pull back in prices seems to be following on from the sale of the 200K spod stockpile from Greenbushes. That's a lot of spod to be absorbed into the market over a short period, essentially the equivalent of adding a pilgangooras worth of uncontracted supply at short notice onto the spot market.
if that is what's driving prices down, watch for the rebound to come in the next couple of months as that flows through the system.
