Yes. A couple of points. Relates to all lithium stocks getting pounded today.
- Just because SQM has permission to increase production to the levels quoted doesn’t mean they CAN or WILL.
- The additional lithium WILL be needed - demand projections are still vastly under quoted in my view.
- Brine generates an inferior product to spodumene and requires further processing (and cost) to bring it up to scratch. (Refer recent PLS presentations)
- Hard rock spodumene has and always will be sought after, and quality projects will get up. BGS is right near the top of that list.
