on the one hand, China was the driver behind this recent large free trade deal, which will see tariffs eliminated across all industries, including Ag. Quintessentially free trading between the 14 nations.
to increase tariffs on any one country is against the agreement and against the spirit of the deal, hence why Birmingham is now saying that it’s against the fine print and against the spirit of the trade deal.
