The billionaires’ horse-trading is ramping up at cattle giant Australian Agricultural Company Ltd, sending the company’s shares to a five-year-high.In the latest spate of buying, it looks like Andrew Forrest’s Tattarang has picked up a 2.3 per cent stake from fellow billionaire Brett Blundy’s BBRC International.it looks like Andrew Forrest’s Tattarang has paid $27.4 million for another piece of cattle business AACo. David MariuzA line of 13.7 million AACo shares crossed late on Friday in a $27.4 million trade. It matched neatly with BBRC’s position, disclosed in AACo’s financial report late last week, and was traded via Bell Potter, which settles trades for Tattarang’s usual broker Aitken Mount.If it wasn’t Blundy selling, it had to be either the Holmes a Court family’s Heytesbury, or Joe Lewis’ Tavistock Group. However, investors reckon neither of those were likely to be sellers.Tattarang’s buying would take its stake to more than 7.5 per cent of AACo’s issued equity, and represent a similar sized parcel to Heytesbury, which has also been building its position.
