"long and painful"...well I agree with you. Two years is long enough and obviously there's a while to go though.
For me though, painful = monetary loss. I have a job unlike many unfortunate people who have families and bills and no work. As far as my portfolio goes, I have sustained one "painful" investment loss that I realised. That was a few months ago and I don't mind saying it was with CNP and it was relatively substantial.
As for my other investments I hold long-term and they are either even or in the green so, dare I say it, my pain is over as far as this downtunr in regard to me....save for some re-couping of my CNP losses with CER and some other stocks that have served to lower the volatility of my overall portfolio.
