Anyone else find the $11billion in todays money a bit of a porky?
When the deal was first announced a year ago they said $11b net present value right?
Doesn't that make around 3% higher now due to inflation over the last year?
Seems like a small detail now but it's small details like this in a very large complex sale like this that make investors nervous, those small details could end up being multi $billion stuffups over the next 10 years.
I'm comfortable with my holding, even a bad deal should see prices higher than this, if Thodey can come out with a good value deal he will gain some serious cred with the market.
