If the money's gone it's gone. You have nothing to worry about.
My money was still sitting in my transaction account on Tuesday and there was no way of getting it to them.
They also sent me a message the day after saying it failed for insufficient funds, even though the funds were sitting in the transaction account.
Looks like some bug in their system. I could have put it through manually on the Monday, but they had clear messages against the BPay that I was not to create another and they would re-process it automatically in the Monday night batch run.
But it didn't go through on the Monday night. When I contacted the bank - typical response. It all works perfectly, but they'll pass on my feedback to their IT department just in case.
Same thing happened about 6 months ago. All BPays were failing and I was told nothing had changed. I was told to change how I automatically set up the automated payments. But within 3 weeks it was working back to normal. No feedback and no apology. Funny that!
Nothing like using customers as system testers. I was not happy!!!!
