That's certainly one way of looking at it, rusch. It's obvious now that CCE really has to pull its fingers out. But thinking about it, an anchored offshore power station is at the mercy of the elements. It'd be interesting to see how such an initiative works off the west coast of Ireland and the Bay of Biscay off the coast of France where Atlantic storms are a regular occurrence .And then you have typhoons, hurricanes to contend with elsewhere. This is where the Carnegie wave power generator might have a definite advantage.Turbulence created by bad weather would have less effect below the surface, one would think. But I stand to be corrected there. With regard to Wave Swell, unless they turn those floating power stations into submarines which can be submerged to a suitable depth and operate through some kind of snorkel system, then bad weather is going to be a challenge, in my view.
