Thought it would interesting to see how many company's in the ASX200 (excluded low cap spec stocks) have doubled or more their share price in the past 12 months and how many weeks it took to move from the low to the high.

It provides some perspective on how difficult it can be to march up the charts.  No two situations are the same so it proves nothing, only a relative perspective.

Based on the past 12 months S&G would need to have an extraordinary SP recovery to recover its fair value within 12 months.  For example:

* Blackmore run up to high took 49 weeks and the SP increased x 5
* Pacific Brands run up to high took 19 weeks and the SP increased x 2.5

What makes these two particularly interesting is Blackmore is a growth story while Pacific is a turnaround story, therefore cover both ends of the spectrum.

For Slater and Gordon to recover its pre AGM fall it would need a x 2.5 increase
