Well I'd be very surprised if Westpac cancelled any of the debt at all and then allowed them to trade again. That would just be dumb business on Westpacs behalf. However, I've never had anything to do with a process like this, so I'll have to reserve judgement I guess.

The announcement released yesterday really didn't give me much hope.

I'm lucky though, I hold A LOT less than most of you. Best of luck. I hope we all get something out of it.
