Thanks for response. That is exactly what I was referring to. Why not find the bottom of the coal if UCG was one of the possibilities (as I currently understand it to be. If as the article posted by Grange is correct and UCG is more suited to depths greater than 1000 metres why are we not drilling deeper.Surely by these actions we are assuming that UCG is not an option. I also hold a few RER shares as I agree with you that if the technology works we will have a very exciting time at some point in the future.
