It is already commercial. It is selling like mad in Japan. They also have bird flu panic in Japan. LANI has been proven to be more effective than any other drug against bird flu.

We know how good bird flu panic is for flu drug sales.
Cook and co may not be the best managers around. Nevertheless, I see it as impossible that they cannot get a reasonable deal for LANI. It is possible better management could get a few percentage points more royalties. But a reasonable deal for a blockbuster drug which in time will dominate the influenza drug market is far better than the best possible deal for a middling drug with a middling market.
