    Your right nicky james but every investment is different.If you bought cba at float and held as long term investment like property i know which one i would like be in.

    I guess sometimes we need look at current situation as if you were to buy today as an investment.Would you buy now for the same return or could you buy now and be sure of getting the same return in ten years time .

    Maybe as an investor in the current market you would choose a liquid investment or hold off till trend changes.

    Im sure you know this .But the real price of property is out of kilter with trend and i dont see how its going to stay so far apart unless we get rises to match.

    One or the other perhaps will happen.Or it will flatline till the trends become close again.No Capital gains for awhile perhaps but rental returns wages and building costs will have to rise to get capital gain again in property .imo
