I was thinking the same thing myself dllarsandsense.

As Bhutos said recently, gas fields do not stop spreading 2 kilometres under today's surface just because some humans say:

"this is OBL's lease and this is BRU's lease". (or words to that effect)

Basically, if we are in the same area (and I am thinking both the Derby block and the Backreef 1 area) the chances are good that we have 'wet'gas ........we just have to drill deep enough to prove it. i.e. 2700 metres plus.

Then there is the Cyrano block to throw into the mix. If Shell / WHN and whoever strike gas offshore of Exmouth, will that lift the sp of OBL?

At 3 to 4 cents per share, we look an absolute bargain to the current BRU price (nudging $3 : 00).
