Hi Unclepanda. A few people have interpreted my posts as indicating that I don’t think QRX will gain approval. So I obviously didn’t express my thoughts very well.

Trying to attach a probability to a binary event like this is pretty difficult for people like us. People who are not “insiders” or have a team of content experts from which draw advice from.

So basically I have given up on trying to say things like: “I think the probability of approval is 70%.”.

Instead the best I can come up with is saying that I think, all being well, QRX should have a run up prior to the AdCom hearing. Might be right – might be wrong. My sentiment is “buy” because I think, like the SA author, that the catalyst the market has been waiting for has been the hearing date.

I know everyone says you should plan the trade and trade the plan sort of stuff. Wish I had a plan. I don’t. Ideally I’d be long gone prior to the hearing. But I might keep a small parcel just for fun. With a position size way below what keeps me awake at night but above whats needed to maintain an interest in the thing.

A lot of depends on movements between now and then – sp, volume and who I think is buying or selling (smart money versus hot silly money). (Along the lines of your investing rule number 2 idea)

Don’t read too much into my content posts – I tend to be a contrarian to what ever sentiment prevails on social media. If people are posting well argued negative views on QRX I’ll be inclined to post positively. And visa versa.

I appreciate this approach might be a bit frustrating for people on this forum – that like posters to be either yes or no. And be consistent in their posting. But at least its honest – you will never see me ramping or down-ramping while trading in the opposite direction.

Closely positively. A company like QRX is fascinating because of the US connection. And in the US, traders can much more easily go both ways (long or short) on a share compared with us. It adds a whole new dimension to the game for us here. Add very high quality commentary coming out of SA – and the fact theres a not a lot of other Australian biotechs currently at the footsteps of the FDA…. its all very interesting … and potentially profitable.

All the best and good luck, Southoz
