The government has rejected the YES motion to cancel the criticized lithium mining memorandum signed by the Minister of Industry and Trade Jiř£ Havl£ček (CSSD) with an Australian mining company. Foreign Minister and CSSD leader in the polls Lubom£r Zaor£lek told reporters that only YO representatives voted to reject the agreement. The CSSD claims that the memorandum will allow the state to take part in profits from future mining. According to the critics of the agreement, the army is threatened by the state. Zaor£lek stated that, on the contrary, this risk stems from previous licenses issued by the Ministry of the Environment under the responsibility of ANO.
