RJA If I were you lot I wouldn't sign a contract with out mum or dad around to read it first.

Now the OPUS clients

1 You give or loan your shares to the OPES POOL for a cut of the action.

2 OPES goes to ANZ and says we have all these shares in our name can we have some money so we can play short the market.

3 ANZ says yes as long as we can have them as security.

4 Opus gets heaps of cash and shorts the Australian Market . Wonder why we got hit harder then the yanks.

5 Market falls more then OPES can handle.

6 ANZ now call for the cash back or hand over the shares held as security.

7 ANZ were only securing the cash they lent them.
Good to see they did the correct thing by their share holders.

Your beef is with the OPUS directors for there reckless use of the shares they were loaned.

And your self for not reading the fine print if you didn't.

Very interesting to see how the super funds get on they were doing the same thing.People retiring soon wont be happy.
