Just my opinion, but when Japan finishes its action in the world court against China over the alleged with holding of its rare earths, of which Japan is becoming increasingly dependent for many of its industries, I would not be surprised if Japan doesn't at some stage take a stake in LYC, now they know there is no guarantee of supply from China.
