Firstly, you are new to this game.
Do you really have the time and inclination to learn how, is it really worth it v dollar cost averaging an index fund?
What do you think you have that makes you better than the thousands of other intelligent people looking to make money?
Secondly if you thought STO was a buy at $4.4 what makes it a sell at $3.6?
Vs anything else in life where a lower price means better buying?
Thirdly the stock price has fallen as has the price of oil. That's a very different thing from saying the price of oil is falling.
One is a historical fact the other is conjecture. In the short term it looks like oil will fall but I wouldn't put any money on that.
I expect the shareprice will fluctuate and doesn't "mean" anything in the short run. In the long run oil will be at $70 and STO at $8.
