Oh, and I forgot to add that common sense (cents) went out the window with the Greens a long time ago and has never come back.
For example, let's talk about renewable energy.
I have yet to hear one Green politician talk about "energy density" and renewables.
Come on, "Green" people, let's see the numbers needed to replace one megawatt of conventional coal or NG generated electricity by means of the following:
1. Solar
2. Wind
3. Biomass
Start with the number of panels, towers, acres needed. Then explain to people what happens with the base load generation needed as a result of the unreliability of those sources.
Now that all assumes that the person from the "Greens" can do the math, has a basic understanding of physics, and can put it all together.
And "Greens" you'll notice I didn't even put a dollar figure into the discussion or the amount of conventional energy needed to get those renewables into service.
Wonder why??
Figure it out and reply.
