And your comments explain exactly what I have been trying to say ,you cant make it big in the markets unless you go long while the fundamentals are strong.
Some traders have made a lot of money along with the odd broker ,but 99% of them will never make it big in the markets unless they stick to good research that indicates a long hold position.
In saying that ,if the results are good ,the largest part of any price rise will happen over the following month to a year or two ,so selling into a good grades announcement can result in selling yourself short.
There are a lot more holes to drill and MOU"s offtake agreements that can eventuate plus carbonate production validation as a result of a good result ,and trading pips after a good result is very risky as validation of grades will attract a different kind of investor with more money to invest over the weeks to months.
The biggest mistakes I have made over the years was selling a good stock to early ,to buy others stocks because I did not have the capital to invest.
Selling WPL at $1.22 because I had no other money ,was the start of my decades of mistakes.

Completely agree.

And my reason for not selling was believing in what I had invested in, and not investing more than I could stand to lose.

I'm still young(ish), don't need the money in my bank account right now and don't plan on selling into the news.

I'm hoping that some of my other investments, along with ASN, will help buy me a house in a few years time, and aside from that, don't want to give the government any additional CGT haha.
