Im hoping we have some mechanics on this thread here comment on the feasibility of this but I recently had a thought whilst jump starting my Motorcycle.
"Surely non EV could also benefit from Lithium batteries."
Sure the big focus on lithium is because EVs need higher capacity, long life and efficient batteries but what about non EVs? At the end of the day, its not just the future vehicles but also todays vehicles that could benefit from Lithium batteries!
If price is an issue, the increasing supply of Lithium (ASN Lithium ideally ) would surely allow non EVs to have economically viable lithium batteries!
Heck if Tesla can make the Model 3 ~35k USD surely thats enough evidence Lithium batteries for non EVs to be viable aswell.
