When you've been around as long as me it doesn't take too long to sniff out the good ones but yes obsessive compulsive disorder helps ,lol.

I feel similarly about Gold . It's all very well to say it's beyond stretched and the top is in ,well what else is news . It really needs to take a breather ,the stocks included ,I don't think that means that it's over.

I take Redbacka's point about the stocks not effectively tracking the GP , but that's been the lot of gold stock investors in recent history . They get pummelled beyond fairness when the GP falls over ,but there is generally no across the board consistent gains when it goes up . It's very much a stock picking exercise ,you need a real blowoff and everyone to think gold's going up forever for all the stocks to go up and/or outperform the GP .
