Here's the performance of the 11 biggest gold stocks since their low in early December to their closing price on Friday.
(There may be minor errors in those %age figures - I can't attest to the fine detail. But the figures are close enough to get the idea.)
Nearly all of them up over 100%? No - it has been an impressive result but only two are up over 100%.
I might note that Oceana is up a whopping +10% today. So it crawls into the +100% today. Nice if you're on it.
Note that NCM was up over 3% early today. It is up just +0.5% at the time of writing. That's after a +0.67% rise on Friday night in the GLD price.
NCM has the biggest influence on the Gold Miners Index. The way it's going - it will be barely positive by the end of today.
Still - it's only one day and there's plenty of time left in today's action.
