What do you think happens to all the waste that builds up on a rural property?
It either gets collected and burned to reduce the fire risk or it gets burned when an out of control fire starts and comes through. There are obligations that must be met and inspections that are carried out.
By burning some of my own waste in an efficient heater with a much cleaner burn it saves me using power from the grid with all the losses on the way and pollution at the source from mainly fossil fuels. It also reduces the emissions by the cleaner burn.
Look at the sky when they burn off huge areas to reduce the fire risk and compare that with the rural residential areas that are managed by the owners. There's no comparison.
Thanks for the opportunity to clarify that point.
