As I said, what good are the costings anyway, when receipts can be changed, and on top, I believe the opposition is not privy to all of the financial affairs of the Government anyway. Hence the Blue Book or Red Book they are handed when taking over Government which outlines the REAL state of affairs.
As TA also has stated, already some costing briefs passed to Treasury were "leaked", he does not want Gillard to grab the Coalitions figures and policy and sell them as hers, which she would do I am sure.
The Treasury should be totally independant but it has been demonstrated they will lean toward the incumbent Government. Katter even recognised that and probaly knows why Abbott is standing his ground.
