Basic housing is a lot different to a mine site.

Lots of Australian and NZ housing are a terrible build because the builders skimp on whatever costs they can to make a margin. This is due to our labour cost being so high..

I don't have experience in the Philippines. But I do know about Africa from industry. I'm sure the similarities are there re mining infrastructure construction. I'm not trying to be a jerk about the people's productivity. I am just stating what I know from other undeveloped countries. The situation does benefit both the investor (MML) and the local people though. These types of countries need foreign investors so they can eventually prosper. Well that's my opinion anyway.
