If you are under 40 you would be nuts to put any more money into super than the government forces you to.
Its going to be 30 years before you can enjoy that money. During the next 30 years the government will fiddle with the rules 15 times.
The government regards your contributions as a "community resource" to raid as necessary. Basically you've lost the money.
Even under the current rules the first million dollars you put in is money down the drain because you've just replaced the pension you would have got with your own money.
It has been made clear that it is unaustralian to be a self funded retiree. No better than a bosses nark. The proper Australian spends his money, doesn't save it then will be rewarded by the government.
