EVR is cheap relative to its true value and its west African peers (PRU, RSG) or CGX. EVR along with a heap of other goldies were being given away in July and early August.
The merger with AVR (which is positive for both parties) is likely to be OK'd in my view and is only a couple of days from being finalised. Small investors have lost sight of EVR, but I get the feeling that some of the brokers are aware of it and are recommending it to their clients (eg UBS).
A rapid move up to $2.80-3.00 is what I am expecting over the next few weeks, unless the markets and POG tank in which case you will be able to buy some more cheaper (as well as a lot of other goldies).
