This article to some extent mirrors what was being said at the AGM, the market reacted to the failure of the wide diameter drilling like the gold wasn't there at all. There were plenty of comments from the floor along the lines of 'just mine it', and 'you will be breaking the mold if you don't spend five years of shareholders money drilling holes so you can play the numbers game of reserves and resources'. Then we had DL on site with Euroz the other day saying things like 'mind blowing' when describing what they are seeing at Purdys. The article reminds us of 8km of 'strike' described by fossickers diggings and they might stop only because the cover is too deep (ie more than a metre) for detectors to pick up nuggets below. So mine it, just mine it. One comment at the AGM was that this would be the cheapest gold mine in Australia. Excellent. Get on with it.
