It sure is possible & it happens in different gas reservoirs all over the world. The pressure would decline over time. However on SS island since 1975, avg daily prodn
from exisitng wells is about 18 mmcfd for sale to the pipeline. The reason SS-10 was drilled was because of a blockage or flow restrictions on SS-9. So from what I understand there aren't too many hiccups just a waiting game thats on with KN-1.
KEY/Aminex do plan to test the best available section from this 60m, having already perforated the casing for 20m or so & let the pressure buildup over time. Come back in 4 weeks by engaging a specialist welltest group to get the exact numbers. I say 20m as thats what is talked about on the UK link that was posted by Kal, very informative indeed.
