Based on my read, it seems on the balance of probabilities, the upcoming result will be good.
The reasons are:
1. The Funds Management business will show a slight gain as a) the stock market was more or less flat b) inflows should have continued
2. The licensing business was growing steadily, and nothing indicates why this will change. Some deferral of revenues were already indicated to be booked in 2H17.
3. The investment in sales staff should normalise and operating leverage should kick in
4. Growth initiatives may provided a kicker
These are just my observations. Anyone else?
