My definition of being left in the dark would be, given timelines for expected results that come and go without any explaination or indication of when such results could be expected.
I don't expect the company to meet every deadline they set and expect delays from time to time. In fact along with many other factors, how a company manages such issues dictates to me their ability to suceed.
This is just my opinion and I stress only one of the many factors that I take into consideration. Obviously given I continue to hold this factor has not yet been significant enough to sell, but it is certainly a frustrating one.
