The reason that Ross left MacMahon is strange, but it has happened before. He left Woodside Petroleum as CFO (that company didn't go bankrupt then ;-)) years ago because he didn't like the organizational culture. So why he left MacMahon is a complete mystery.
But what is more important to me is the fact that Jim Walker continues to be chairman and now interim CEO. That guy has a reputation to defend, Ross not really. So I doubt he would like to take over the reins if the company was in such a bad state.
About Sy van Dyk. I noticed he has worked together with Jim at WesTrac. That should create at least some familiarity and inclination to stay considering their existing relation.
But that is all speculation off course.
As a question. Is there anyone who has some concrete info about "possible" Christmas Creek reorganizations by FMG? I haven't found anything, not even in FMG's own announcements..
A link would be very helpful.
