I agree with you Wink, although I don't see that happening. The FDA seem (to me) to be a compromised (I won't say corrupt, lol) institution, funded by the US pharmaceutical companies that they are supposed to adjudicate on. I don't understand why other countries genuflect to them and base their decisions on what the almighty god FDA say. I think perhaps, going forward, many (for example) Asian countries will make their own decisions and not look so much to the FDA for "guidance". I can't see China giving a flying f## what the FDA says.
Unfortunately, our country is not among that group, so I don't see your/my dreams being fulfilled in that area. But why isn't it possible for us to appeal directly to these other markets which are not so "FDA kow-towing"? I'm sure someone here who knows what they are talking about (ie.almost everybody on this chat group apart from me, lol), can set me straight as to why not.
