Based in Melbourne, Optiscan was established in 1994 and listed on the ASX in 1997. We have developed and patented endomicroscopic digital imaging technology for medical applications which allows real-time, 3D, non-destructive ‘in vivo’ imaging of human tissue at the subcellular level enabling clinicians to make immediate informed decisions.

    Position Overview:

    As a Digital Content Specialist, you will be an integral member of the Customer Team (Sales and Marketing), responsible for creating engaging digital content to support our brand's presence across various platforms. You will play a crucial role in developing engaging content to support our marketing efforts, including social media, webinars, videos, and marketing collateral, and shaping our online presence and driving external communications with shareholders, prospective customers, and the wider market.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Marketing Content Creation
    • Develop marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, infographics, product descriptions, web content, email campaigns, and presentations to support sales and marketing initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, script, and produce webinars, videos and online events to showcase our products and educate our target audience.
    • Develop video content showcasing our products, customer testimonials, and educational materials.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners as needed.
    • Develop promotional materials to maximize our presence at conferences, exhibitions, and other industry events.
    • Assist with the planning and execution of conferences, exhibitions, and other industry events.
    • Social Media Management
    • Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with followers, and drive traffic to our digital platforms.
    • Create and publish relevant, high-quality content across various social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
    • Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitor activities, and engagement opportunities.
    • Analyse social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
    • Digital Marketing Support
    • Write and update content for the company website, ensuring it is informative, engaging, and optimized for search engines.
    • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and organic traffic.
    • Monitor website and social media analytics to identify opportunities for improvement, and relay key analytics data to other team members within Optiscan.
    • Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and sales.

    Content Management
    • Maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of content across all channels.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather content ideas, feedback, and approvals.
    • Assist with crafting of compelling content for external communications, including press releases, investor updates, and corporate announcements.
    • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure consistency in messaging across all external channels.

    Your Profile:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in digital content creation, preferably within the healthcare or medical device industry.
    • Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
    • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software.
    • Experience managing social media platforms and analysing performance metrics.
    • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content management systems (CMS).
    • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to travel domestically or internationally as required.
