Paper trading is trading with monopoly money not real money but as far as the program is concerned, it thinks its real.
It goes off on its own and buys and sells shares based on the live data feed and your settings. It keeps a log of its activities, a summary of holdings and that's what I follow. I wish it was trading live with real money. It trades better than me :(
There's plenty of help by way of manuals and quick guides and even real time discussion with the admin crew and other members who are all very helpful. There's no need to be trading on your own these days.
